Tell me lord in heaven above,
Do baby angels have lots of love?
Who is the one who holds there hand,
And trys to help them understand?
Do they know just who we are,
And that our love can travel that far?
Do they have lots of childrens toys,
And is there life always full of joy?
When it was there time to leave,
Just like us did they grieve?
Did you explain we would meet again,
And do they ever have any pain?
When we reach your garden aswell,
We are there family, will they tel?
Will they still be babies?
Or grow into gentlemen and ladies?
When children are taken oh so small,
Do you catch them when they fall?
And as the years do go on,
Will you teach them right from wrong?
So when i see my grandson some day,
Will he be the same as he went away?
Or will he be the man he was to come?
Did he live a life and have lots of fun?
